CCE Details

Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)

CCE has been strengthened with effect from OCT 2009.
The new grading system has been introduced from Academic Session 2010.
Evaluation of scholastic areas:-
Each academic year now has two terms i.e. April to September and Oct to March.
Each term has two formative assessments and one summative assessment for evaluation of scholastic areas.
The Weightage of Formative Assessment and Summative assessment is as follows

FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT

Formative assessment includes participation of the students in their own learning through Worksheets,  quizzes, conversations, interviews, oral testing, visual testing, projects, practicals, classwork , homework and assignments.

SCHEME OF GRADING

CBSE, IN CONSULTATION WITH THE Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has decided to introduce nine point grading system.
In this system, performance of the students will be assessed using conventional numerical marking mode, and the same will be later converted into the grades on the basis of the pre-determined marks ranges as detailed
